Things I Learned About My Camera

To set ISO:
Click Camera
ISO---Auto

To set file size and compression:
Click Main Menu
Left click SHQ 2560 x 1920
HQ 2560 x 1920
SQ 1600 x 1200
SQ 640 x 480
Camera records only in jpg

To set White Balance:
Main Menu
Picture tab
WB----Auto
Sunshine
Cloudy
Artificial light

For Macro: Button on back---Off
Close up
Super close

Flash mode button on back---Auto
Red-eye
Every picture
Off

To set exposure meter mode:
Two choices—ESP—meters the center of the monitor and
surrounding area separately

Spot---center of monitor, optimal exposure
regardless of background light

Exposure compensation with Manual mode:
Set shutter speed using the up or down button on the menu bar (15” to 1/1000)
Aperture set by using the right and left buttons on the menu bar (F2.8 and F7.0)

On Manual I can change the aperture and shutter speed but not the exposure value.
On Program I can change the exposure value but it sets the shutter speed and Fstop.
