Sky Clipping mask

One of my favorite photos taken about three miles up the K'esugi Ridge trail from the Little Coal Creek trail head has always left me a little dissatisfied: the terrain looks great but the sky was a washed out blue/gray.

Then I ran across a YouTube Photoshop tutorial called "Sky Clipping Mask". (Click on title to open link). Found another K'esugi Ridge photo with a just right sky shot, so I helped nature along and borrowed the "sky" for the first pic.

What do you think?
