BLUE MOON

TOOK THE PICTURE OF THE MOON
USED ,PHOTOSHOP ELEMENT 6.0

What are "Stephen's shared items?"

In Google Reader, when I read a post, or see a photograph that I want to share there is an option to share it. I added a section in the course web log to share those items. It works pretty well. I can either go to the web log and post to the web log, or if appropriate just click on the share button within Google Reader. The purpose of all this "sharing" is that one of the motivations to take photographs is to have people see them. In the old days you had to think about showing at a gallery or art show and maybe getting a book published. All these internet tools have completely changed the possibilities of sharing your photographs. It is an amazing time!

All invitations have been sent!

I have sent all the invitations using the emails that you provided. If you do not get an invitation email me and I will send another one or correct the email that I used. Welcome to this web log.

Simple, clear, and accurate, the only qualification that I have is when in doubt shoot, you might be surprised with an interesting photograph. Know and use your technique, but do not let technique inhibit your desire to take a photograph.

The Eyes Have It

I've been messing around with Photoshop Elements 6 and wanted to show you what I came up with. This is a picture of my niece and her cat. I changed the color and made it into a water color.

Cold Spot Picture

I was goofing off with my mom's new camera and took this picture. I don't think I've ever really had a moving picture come out like this one.. Maybe it had something to do with the cold spot in the room.. or not.. Either way I like the way it came out.

Racing Flowers

Greetings All!

Well , we survived another year and are beginning a brand new one! I do wish you all the very best in 2008!!

Tonight I learned how to make my pictures have a blurry background. I thought it was cool and wanted to show you. Now what I need to do is find a picture of a parked car and make it look like it's racing down the highway... :)

Free Software to Recover Lost Photos

Greetings All,

I have used this free program to recover photos from a "corrupted" flash card. It got most of them back for me and I thought you might like to have the link. http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/smart_recovery/info.htm?language=1

By the way, I took this photo on New Year's Day when I drove out the Steese Hwy:

I just couldn't stand to sit inside any longer and hoped I would find the sun shining somewhere - and I did. :)

Have a GREAT weekend!
