This is one of my favorite images of my daughter. I chose to crop the image to make her the complete focus of the photo. After that I fix the low lights and high lights of the photo by choosing “I’m feeling lucky”. After that I went into effects. From there I chooses to sharpen add a B&W filter with a blue hue and soft focus. The link that I posted explains how to choose and use the different B&W effects that are offered as tools in Picasa. Originally I wanted to use focal B&W, but I wasn’t able to highlight just her dress for color. I also tried to do certain flowers on the dress, but I was not able to achieve the look I wanted.
