DPexpert: [ BEWARE THE PIXEL PEEPER ]

DPexpert: [ BEWARE THE PIXEL PEEPER ]
Not all that is written by experts is relevant or even useful. Over time, when a new camera is introduced, there will be common threads of criticism. It seems to happen to every camera. After awhile it becomes almost funny. Common critical themes include color balance, back focus, a tendency to under or over expose, noise reduction, and slow raw speed. The old camera will be better then the new, the new will be better then the old, another camera is better then both the new and the old, it will drive you crazy. What is important it that you define your own preferences, what do you want to do with your camera and that you know how much you want to spend. If you know your intended use, and you budget, then the reviews can be valuable, but keep a clear sense of purpose in order not to get lost in an ocean of contridictory opinion.
