Adobe Photoshop Elements 6: Full Review - Review by PC Magazine
If you can not afford Photoshop, or even if you can, I recommend Adobe Photoshop Elements. I have used Elements for years and it keeps getting better. I also recommend that you download and install Picasa because of its excellent sharing capability. A final alternative is Adobe Lightroom, but for Lightroom there are times where you will still need Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, for example correcting converging verticals. Actually I use all four alternatives and find that each has specific uses that can not be duplicated by the others.
