I took this photograph in July off the Glenn highway of a 4-wheeler accident. I wanted to bring out the darkness and shadow of the trees in conrtrast to the green and blue haze of sky.Using Picasa, I did so by applying a gratuated tint for the sky and increased the amount of shadow in the image. I also used the focal Black and White to shade the higway, sky and corners to intensify the color of the sky, trees, black smoke and ash on the ground.
