Photo Editing Assignment

So, I looked around and found this photo I took of a crocodile in Costa Rica. The original is on top and the corrected one is on the bottom. All I did to this image was used levels and moved the histogram highs and lows to where the information really begins. Then I used Unsharp Mask to sharpen the photo. I read about a gajillion Photoshop tutorials and found most of them were for CS, CS2 and CS3 and I am using version 6 at home so I went ahead and did what I usually do to most of my photos. If this isn't good enough, please let me know and I will make another effort.
